Most studios are treated. Cloud 9 was engineered. Both of our recording spaces were designed and constructed from the ground up using a floating room, non-parallel wall design — a method that eliminates the acoustic compromises found in conventional builds. After construction, each room was tuned using both Omni and bi-directional diffusion until the response was exactly right.
The result is two acoustic environments where what you hear in the room is what ends up in the mix. No guessing. No surprises. Just accurate, reliable sound that lets you make critical creative decisions with confidence.

Meet Jack & Joe
Jack and Joe Napoli have been making and recording music together for nearly five decades. In 1994, alongside their father, they broke ground — literally — and built Cloud 9 Recording. Since then, they’ve engineered sessions spanning the Greek Orthodox Divine Liturgy recorded in a domed cathedral to full-band rock records with platinum-selling artists.
Their instinct is the studio’s edge: the ability to read a room, anticipate what a session needs, and keep things focused without losing the energy that makes a great performance happen.
